OREANDA-NEWS Russian President Vladimir Putin has given the FSB the right to participate in the selection of recruits.

The decree providing for this addition to the regulations on the Federal Security Service was posted on Monday on the Internet portal of legal information.

The document says that now the FSB "in order to recruit security agencies participates in the selection of citizens of the Russian Federation who are subject to conscription for military service."
