OREANDA-NEWS. Russian President Vladimir Putin admitted, that he could become a video blogger. One of the participants of the meeting of the Supervisory Board of the ANO «Russia — the Land of Opportunities» addressed the head of state with a corresponding proposal.

The Russian leader promised to think about such a prospect. He stressed, that the media space and the blogosphere are expanding, and there is no escape from this. Putin also spoke positively about the idea of improving the competence of teachers in social networks.

«If something cannot be prevented, it must be led. <...> Otherwise, you will remain on the sidelines and will not be able to realize not only yourself, but also your main function — to properly influence the children, the schoolchildren», the president believes.

At the same time, Putin drew attention to the importance of the traditional form of education. According to him, a lot depends on the teacher here. Earlier, Putin expressed disappointment with the inattention of his administration staff. He said, that one of his wishes has not yet been fulfilled. Putin said, that he had proposed changing the format of the «Teacher of the Year» contest.
