OREANDA-NEWS Attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on Russia are similar to drone raids in Syria, Head of State Vladimir Putin said. He is quoted by RIA Novosti.

In the Middle East, troops have learned how to fight drones, which will also happen during raids on Russian territory, the president added.

Commenting on the work on the UAV of the Russian air defense system, Putin noted that the complexes in service are configured for large flying objects, much larger than drones. He stated that it was possible to establish work by applying the necessary solutions.

On Tuesday, July 13, Putin holds a meeting with military officers. According to the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, representatives of TV channels, as well as bloggers and authors of Telegram channels participate in communication with the head of state.
