OREANDA-NEWS  Unemployment in the Russian Federation is at a record low of 2.6%, the number of working Russians has increased and reached 74.1 million, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"Last year we had 73.4 million employees, this year we have 74.1 million employees. More than 2,000 vacancies have been opened, and unemployment is at a record low of 2.6%," Putin said at a meeting with the Cabinet of Ministers.
