OREANDA-NEWS  In 2023, Russia sold billions of dollars worth of weapons abroad. The volume of arms sales was estimated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, his words are quoted by TASS.

The Pantsir anti-aircraft missile gun systems (ZRPC) are highly in demand in their military. The equipment is also in demand on international markets and is sold as "hot cakes".

"The latest Russian weapons are superior to NATO's, even Soviet ones are not always inferior to foreign weapons," he explained.

At a meeting with participants of the forum "Everything for Victory!", which is taking place in Tula, the head of state said that over the past year and a half, more than 520 thousand new jobs have been created in the country's military-industrial complex.
