Putin announced plans to train a million specialists in unmanned aerial vehicles by 2023

OREANDA-NEWS During the open lesson "Talking about important things", Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed confidence that parks for aircraft will appear in Tatarstan and said that a million specialists in drones, who will be trained by 2030, may not be enough, since the development of this industry is very fast.
"We have a program, in my opinion, until 2030, we have to train a million specialists. Maybe even this is not enough yet, because it is developing very quickly. But, of course, there are a number of limitations," Putin said during an open lesson on "Talking about important things."
One of the participants of the open lesson, a boy from the Republic of Tatarstan, said that he is fond of operating unmanned aerial vehicles, collects and models them himself, and also participates in competitions.
"This year I managed to participate in 33 competitions, and I won 20. As already said, I dream of becoming a civil aviation pilot in the future," the boy said and asked the head of state to build several copter parks throughout Russia so that people could fly legally, since after the introduction of restrictions it became problematic.
The President replied that a few months ago he met with specialists and "talked about this topic," and they drew attention to the fact that some restrictions that are related to the need to ensure security, but nevertheless many of them hinder the development of the direction of drones.
"There are these parks that you mentioned in Moscow. I am sure that our conversation will be heard in Tatarstan as well. In Tatarstan, managers are very flexible, mobile, creative. I know they support everything very well... beginnings. I think that it will be possible to do, they will certainly do it," Putin replied.
The President also noted that unmanned vehicles have their own vector of development and are extremely important, "becoming more and more important in the world in a variety of industries."
