OREANDA-NEWSThe presidents of the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan, Vladimir Putin and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, will sign a protocol on extending the agreement on oil supplies to Kazakhstan at the talks in Astana, Yuri Ushakov, an aide to the Russian leader, told reporters.

Putin will pay a visit to Astana on November 27-28.

"I can inform you that a protocol will be signed to extend and amend the agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on trade and economic cooperation in the field of oil and petroleum products supplies to the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 9, 2010," Ushakov told reporters.

According to him, in addition to representatives of the Russian government, the Russian delegation will include heads of Russian companies, in particular, the head of Rosatom Alexey Likhachev, the head of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov, the CEO of Roscosmos state corporation Yuri Borisov, the head of VTB Andrey Kostin, the general director of the Russian Export Center Veronika Nikishina. According to Ushakov, they will take part in the negotiations of the leaders in an expanded format.
