OREANDA-NEWS. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky instructed the Prosecutor General to institute criminal proceedings on the fact of the crash of a Ukrainian plane in Tehran.

The Ukrainian leader wrote about this on his Facebook page. The politician noted that an investigation commission should be created with participation of representatives of law enforcement and specialized departments responsible for civil aviation. Zelensky instructed to check all civilian aircrafts in the country. It is specified that this will be done regardless of the conclusions about the causes of the disaster in Iran.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Embassy in Tehran ruled out an attack as a possible cause of the crash. UIA suspended flights to Tehran for an indefinite period.
