Zelensky Announced the Building of a Town for Immigrants from the Crimea
OREANDA-NEWS. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that on the territory of the Kherson Region will be built a town for immigrants from the Crimea.
Construction work should begin this year. According to the head of state, there are more than 500 families of Crimean Tatars among the migrants. The message published on the official website of Zelensky says that he instructed his permanent representative to the Crimea, Anton Korynevych, to provide “communication and control” regarding the process of building.
“My idea is that they see how we relate to people, to Crimean residents. You come, and here is the “garden city.” So you feel the difference, because everything here is at the highest level: a petrol station, a school, a kindergarten, houses,” Zelensky said.
The politician also noted that a special hub with a developed infrastructure for comfortable border crossing would be created at the Chongar checkpoint.
