It is planned that some of them will guard the United States Embassy in Beirut. 5 thousand marines and sailors are aboard the landing ship Bataan and accompanying vessels, which are moving towards the Middle East through the Mediterranean Sea. The publication emphasizes that after the transfer of troops the number of American contingent in the region will exceed 80 thousand people.

Fox News Channel reports that Washington began redeployment of B-52 from the air base located in the State of the Louisiana to Diego Garcia Island (Chagos Archipelago, Indian Ocean).
