OREANDA-NEWS. The first deputy head of the faction of the party of supporters of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky Servant of the People in the Verkhovna Rada, Oleksandr Kornienko hopes for the end of quarantine in the country by mid-May.

“Regarding that it began later in our country, we prepared for the quarantine activities better. Therefore, there are cautious hopes that around mid-May everything will end,” Kornienko said. At the same time, the politician emphasized that his opinion is not supported by information from the country’s Ministry of Healthcare or the Prime Minister, but based on intuitive guesses and his own observation of the situation.

Since April 6, the Ukrainian authorities have tightened quarantine measures in the country. The movement of citizens outdoors is limited in time; a ban on mass events has been introduced. Residents of the country are required to wear personal protective equipment when visiting public places.
