OREANDA-NEWS. Ilya Kiva, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the political party Opposition Platform – For Life, allowed that the issue of the impeachment of President Volodymyr Zelensky may be raised. In the actions of the head of state in relation to the Constitutional Court, Kiva sees signs of a coup. His words are quoted on the party’s website.

The parliamentarian recalled that Zelensky is the guarantor of the Constitution, and noted that if he is “ready to wipe the floor with the Constitution for the sake of third parties and to spit in it,” then an “important question” about impeachment for the “criminal position” of the President against the law arises. “We are ready to talk about this issue [Of impeachment. – Ed.]. Today I want to look at the actions of the parliament, because no matter what decision the Constitutional Court makes, we, the deputies, cannot level the law just because someone likes it or not,” Kiva said. The deputy added that the Ukrainian leader himself explained his actions by the interests of third parties, “ambassadors of the G7 and partners who allegedly provide assistance” to the country.
