OREANDA-NEWS. Viktor Medvedchuk, the head of the political council of the Ukrainian party Opposition Platform – For Life, announced the creation of a working group for planning a meeting of parliamentarians of the countries of “Normandy format”.

“Today we created a working group in coordination with our colleagues, with the leadership of the Russian State Duma, which will plan such a meeting. The possibility of such a meeting was discussed in Berlin and in Paris,” the politician said after talks with Russian lower house’s speaker Vyacheslav Volodin. Medvedchuk added that the place and time for a meeting will be determined in the near future. “I think it will be April or May. At least we won’t delay it, because we really want to influence the processes that can lead to peace in Ukraine,” the Ukrainian deputy noted.
