OREANDA-NEWS. US authorities will not leave the country’s oil and gas companies without financial support. This was announced by the American President Donald Trump.

“I have instructed the Secretary of Energy and Secretary of the Treasury to formulate a plan which will make it funds available so that these very important companies and jobs will be secured long into the future,” the politician wrote on his Twitter page. The US President promised that his administration would not abandon the “great US Oil & Gas Industry,” but did not disclose details of how assistance would be provided.

Bloomberg agency noted that after Trump’s announcement, US energy stock quotes won back part of the fall, reflecting a collapse in oil prices.
