Trump Denies Accusations of Cooperation with Russia in the New Election
OREANDA-NEWS. American President Donald Trump wrote on Twitter that the statements about Russia’s plans to intervene in the next US presidential election and to secure his re-election is another attempt by the Democratic Party to mislead voters.
“Another misinformation campaign is being launched by Democrats in Congress saying that Russia prefers me to any of the Do Nothing Democrat candidates who still have been unable to, after two weeks, count their votes in Iowa,” he wrote.
Trump’s words are related to the publication in The New York Times, in which the newspaper revealed the contents of the US intelligence report claiming that Russia was already trying to influence the upcoming elections in order to achieve Trump’s re-election. According to the special services, now Moscow has changed its tactics and does not conduct a disinformation campaign directly, but “are working to get Americans to repeat disinformation.”
