OREANDA-NEWS. President of the United States Donald Trump accused Russia, Syria and Iran of intention to kill civilian residents in the Syrian Governorate of Idlib.

“Russia, Syria, and Iran are killing, or on their way to killing, thousands of innocent civilians in Idlib Province. Don’t do it! Turkey is working hard to stop this carnage,” the politician wrote on his Twitter page on December 26.

On December 24, the General Staff of the Syrian Armed Forces reported that more than 40 villages in Idlib were liberated from terrorists during a military operation and called on civilians to leave the settlements held by the militants. The list of liberated villages contains strategically important points, for example the village ten kilometers from the city of Maarat al-Numan.
