OREANDA-NEWS. Republican nominee, incumbent US leader Donald Trump claimed that he won the presidential election. “I won the election!” the politician wrote on his Twitter page. The social network marked his post with a message that the official results show the opposite.

The day before, Trump said that he refuses to recognize the victory of Democrat Joe Biden in the presidential election. The head of the White House considers that the election was held with violations. In another tweet, Trump wrote that the country’s Constitution was violated. According to Trump, a large number of observers from the Republican Party were not allowed to the place of counting the votes. The President also reported that the Democrats made changes to the ballots in order to help the candidate from their party.

The US presidential election ended on November 3. The election results have not yet been officially announced. However, according to preliminary estimates published by the American media, Biden overtook Trump.
