OREANDA-NEWS. The desire for mutually respectful relations with Russia on the basis of law will allow countries to avoid being included in the list of unfriendly in the future, said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

"The main thing is our main thesis: we are for the development of equal relations," said an official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry in an interview with RT.

Zakharova said on this occasion: “Perhaps something new and fresh is expected from us ... but it seems to me that there are traditions that should be preserved: equal, mutually respectful relations based on law. Further, the adjustment can be individual: it can be a relationship of partnership, alliance ... there can be periods of cooling, there are different situations, there are even problems, but the basis should be the one I mentioned. And then they will not be included in any lists of unfriendly countries. "

Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation previously approved the list of unfriendly states, the list includes two countries: the United States and the Czech Republic. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in an interview with RIA Novosti that Moscow will not indiscriminately write any country on the list of unfriendly, the decision will be preceded by a deep analysis, and the list may be revised over time. According to the minister, this will not be a "dead" paper: the list "will, of course, be revised" as relations with the respective state develop.
