The New York Times Writes Trump Has Not Paid Income Tax for 10 Years
OREANDA-NEWS. US President Donald Trump has not paid income tax for 10 of the last 15 years, The New York Times reported, citing tax returns from the head of the White House.
According to the newspaper, in the year when Trump became President of the United States, he paid 750 dollars of income tax. He also paid 750 dollars the following year. The New York Timed adds that they do not have tax information for 2018 and 2019 (the third and fourth years of Trump’s presidency). In the remaining 10 years (out of the last 15), Trump, according to the publication, did not pay income tax, since he indicated that the total losses of his companies exceed profits.
Trump called the newspaper’s material a fabrication of facts. The politician recalled that four years ago he already had to talk about it and come up with a refutation. Trump also stated that he would submit his tax returns to refute the recent material. However, the American leader did not specify when exactly he would do this.
