The Kremlin Announced the Expected Time of Putin’s Speech to the UN
OREANDA-NEWS. The speech of Russian President Vladimir Putin at the United Nations General Assembly is expected on September 22 after 15:00 UTC, RIA Novosti reported with reference to Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian leader. According to him, the head of state will speak at the UN in the format of a video message.
“On Friday, President Putin’s speech at the UN General Assembly was recorded. You know that this year the overwhelming majority of heads of state will be addressing this way – through video recording. This video message has already been sent to New York. And tomorrow, on Tuesday, somewhere starting from 18:00 Moscow time, we can expect the publication of this speech,” Peskov told reporters.
Previously, the Kremlin spokesman informed TASS news agency that Putin plans to focus his speech on the challenge posed to the world by the coronavirus pandemic.
