OREANDA-NEWS. The state of health of the former president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, who had previously been diagnosed with coronavirus, has deteriorated. This was reported by his wife Marina on October 7 on YouTube.

According to her, against the background of the infection with SARS-CoV-2, bilateral pneumonia has developed. At the moment Poroshenko is in the hospital, where he is undergoing complex treatment.

“Unfortunately, his blood condition has worsened now, it is very thick. Doctors cannot even take blood for analysis in order to monitor its condition and see the course of the disease,” the wife of the politician said.

Petro Poroshenko reported of a positive test for coronavirus on September 29. Then he planned to be treated at home. However, on October 3, he was taken to one of the Kiev hospitals. Then his wife said that the country’s clinics lacked beds and medical equipment. The former first lady urged fellow citizens to take care of themselves, wear masks and gloves, and maintain social distance.
