As RIA Novosti reports, according to the head of the international committee of the Federation Council, Konstantin Kosachev, Russia will respond to US sanctions bilaterally, if necessary, and thus problems will be created for their manufacturers and companies in the markets of third countries.

It is reported that the US Department of Commerce has published a list of 103 companies from Russia and China associated with the armed forces, they will be subject to export restrictions. The sanctions list includes the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, large enterprises in the aviation, space and other industries.

According to the Russian politician, the new sanctions are completely illogical, and the main goal that the Americans are pursuing is to provide themselves with a competitive edge in world markets, and they will continue to create maximum difficulties for their direct competitors.

According to Konstantin Kosachev, Russia has enough reserves to remain competitive. In his opinion, Russia's main response is to continue to develop steadily and not to concede foreign markets to American competitors.

Kosachev believes that Russia has every chance to win in the struggle for the energy market in Europe, which is now being observed. He also stressed that the export of Russian weapons is also growing, and in this area Russia is also a serious competitor to the United States.
