OREANDA-NEWS. American billionaire George Soros during his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos claimed that Facebook Inc. could have conspired with US President Donald Trump to help him to be reelected in 2020.

“I think there is a kind of informal mutual assistance operation or agreement developing between Trump and Facebook,” Soros said. According to him, Facebook can help Trump to be re-elected by spreading misinformation, and the head of the White House, in turn, will protect the corporation. “It makes me very concerned about the outcome for 2020,” Soros resumed. However, the billionaire did not give any evidence connected with his statement.

Facebook denies Sosros’ charges. “This is just plain wrong,” Facebook spokesman Andy Stone said.
