Russian-Swedish Business Forum to be Held in Yekaterinburg on October, 16
OREANDA-NEWS The Russian-Swedish business Forum will be held in Yekaterinburg on Tuesday, it will be attended by representatives of seven Swedish companies and organizations working in Russia, the Swedish Embassy said on Monday.
"The business delegation included representatives of seven Swedish companies and organizations working in Russia. On October 16 the Russian-Swedish Business Forum will be held with their participation", the message reads.
The forum will include a seminar "Seven Swedish ideas for the Sverdlovsk region: how to build a future based on existing resources", where companies will present their innovative solutions and technologies, as well as the possibility of their application in the Sverdlovsk region. After the seminar, the exchange of business contacts is planned, where representatives of Swedish companies will hold talks with local businesses.
"Sverdlovsk region is our long-standing partner. This year we are coming to Yekaterinburg to present modern Sweden and offer our innovative solutions that can be applied in the region. We hope that our visit will contribute not only to the strengthening of official and business cooperation, but also ties between people. Therefore, we are conducting a large public cultural program, which will include exhibitions, film screenings, literary readings, lectures for students and historians and other events," said the Swedish Ambassador to Russia Peter Erickson in the message.
So, from October 17 to November 25 in the Ural branch Of the state center for contemporary art will host the exhibition "the Beginning, the end and almost everything between", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the famous Swedish Director Ingmar Bergman. From 17 to 23 October will be a Week of Swedish cinema, also dedicated to the work of Ingmar Bergman. The program will include five well — known films of the Director - "Strawberry meadow", "Person", "Sarabanda", "The Seventh press" and "Fanny and Alexander", as well as two documentaries about Bergman and his legacy, says the Embassy.
