OREANDA-NEWS. In anticipation of a vote on constitutional amendments on July 1 and a single voting day on September 13, Western countries are expected to be activated. This was stated by Secretary of the Security Council of Russia, Nikolay Patrushev, in an interview with the newspaper Argumenty i Facty.

According to the politician, in particular, they intend to “provoke nationalist and separatist sentiments” in Russian regions acting through non-profit organizations. “An additional emphasis is also expected to be placed on stimulating the activity of the so-called alternative trade union organizations. Steps are planned to intensify the information pressure on Russia in order to erode the Russian spiritual, moral, cultural and historical values ​​that form the foundation of statehood and reduce the feeling of the all-Russian identity of the citizens of our country. The main tasks are to split the Russian society, to impose values ​​and development models that are advantageous to them, to be able to manipulate the public conscience,” Patrushev said.
