OREANDA-NEWS. Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin stated that the implementation of a nationwide plan of actions that ensures the restoration of employment and incomes, economic growth and long-term structural changes in the economy will require about 5 trillion roubles (about 72.7 billion US dollars) during 2020–2021.

“The national plan contains… about 500 specific events. The cost of its implementation in about two years will be about 5 trillion roubles,” the head of government said during a meeting with President Vladimir Putin.

It is known that the main goal of the plan is to overcome the economic downturn caused by the coronavirus pandemic and to reach a steady growth of gross domestic product, which will help to increase real incomes of citizens. According to Mishustin, these tasks will be solved by increasing investment activity, using digital technologies, increasing the level of education, and the rapid construction of high-quality residential houses.
