OREANDA-NEWS. On April 30, it became known that Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin is infected with the new type of coronavirus.

According to RIA Novosti news agency, the politician himself informed President Vladimir Putin about his illness during an online meeting. Mishustin said that he would keep self-isolation. The head of state wished him a speedy recovery.

Because of this, Putin signed a decree on the appointment of First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov as acting head of the government.

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin, commenting on Mishustin’s disease, noted that the Prime Minister was constantly checked for COVID-19 and avoided unnecessary contacts, but, despite of it, became infected.
