«Turnover should occur together with the adoption of a new Constitution and elections. But now there is a bad situation, when Europe attacks both Belarus and Russia, we are against it», wrote politician on Twitter.

The new investigative film «Golden Bottom-2», released by the Belarusian opposition Telegram channel Nexta on May 27, was watched by more than 1.5 million people on Monday, May 31. The film, posted on the YouTube, claims that the highest ranks of Belarus are involved in international smuggling schemes, as well as «watchers, small performers and lured security forces».

One of the topics of the investigation is how sanctioned products from Europe with tax evasion are delivered to Russia through Belarus. As a result of this scheme, the authors of the film say, Lukashenko and his inner circle received a huge profit, without contributing anything to the country's budget.

According to the investigators, only for the period from 2014 to 2019, up to 3,000 cars a month with sanctioned fruit passed through Belarus. According to them, only during this period and only on the sanctioned pears, the smugglers earned about $300 million. In many cases, ordinary Belarusian businessmen were involved in the schemes, who were faced with a choice — «to be friends with the Lukashist smugglers» or to give up the business.
