Russian Politician Zhirinovsky Believes That the West "Lost" by Placing Bets on Navalny
OREANDA-NEWS. LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky believes that the West has "lost" by placing bets on blogger Alexei Navalny.
It is recalled that on February 2, the Simonovsky Court of Moscow ruled to cancel Navalny's suspended sentence in the Yves Rocher case and replace him with 3.5 years in a general regime colony. Consideration of the FSIN's submission was carried out in a field format in the building of the Moscow City Court.
The leader of the Liberal Democratic Party wrote on his Telegram channel on Thursday: "Gentlemen, you lost: you bet on Yavlinsky, Nemtsov, Khodorkovsky, now on Navalny, tomorrow on Gudkov. But all these are losing cards. You forget again and again who freed Europe from the hordes Genghis Khan, who took Paris under Napoleon, who liberated Berlin. You don't want to draw correct historical conclusions. "
Zhirinovsky also advised Westerners "not to cross the red line." The politician noted that "Moscow will never be Kiev-2, no Maidans, orange or gray-brown-crimson revolutions, and Navalny will not help you." The politician added that "Russia is a fortress" and advised the West to "pull itself together" and stop "fussing against the greatest state in the world."
Zhirinovsky called on Western countries "to end their game because Russia won again." He wrote, addressing the representatives of the West: “You lost on February 2 when the decision on Navalny was made, just like you lost the Battle of Stalingrad on February 2, 1943 battle. Shame on you! "
