Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs Reported about 200 People Interrogated over the Navalny Case
OREANDA-NEWS. The pre-investigation check “in connection with the hospitalization” of the opposition politician Aleksey Navalny continues, about 200 people have already been interviewed in the case. This was reported by the Transport Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Siberian Federal District. The message was published on the agency’s website.
“About 200 people were interviewed to obtain information that could help restore the picture of what happened. These are citizens who contacted Navalny or witnessed his stay in Tomsk and the Tomsk Region, as well as some of the passengers who flew in the same airplane with him,” the message says.
In addition, the transport police department clarified that officers are carrying out additional verification measures in connection with the appearance in the media and the Internet of videos, comments and interviews providing for “different versions of what happened.”
