Russian Authorities Do Not Consider the Introduction of Strict Quarantine for the New Year Holidays
OREANDA-NEWS. The Kremlin administration is not considering the introducing of strict quarantine for the New Year holidays according to the scenario of Western countries. This was stated by presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov. Earlier, some media reported on the discussion of this possibility.
Some Western countries are introducing new restrictions due to the spread of the coronavirus. For example, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier said in a televised address that the country will have the toughest lockdown ever since December 16.
Previously, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said that during the New Year holidays, the curfew will not be introduced in the city.
