OREANDA-NEWS. Russian government allowed entry into the country for residents of the unrecognized Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics (DPR and LPR). The order was published on the legal information portal. Earlier, entry into Russia was restricted for all foreigners amid the spread of coronavirus infection.

“In connection with the economic and transport blockade by Ukraine of certain regions of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine, guided by the principles of humanity, the provisions (On restricting entry to Russia for foreigners. – Ed.) do not apply to Ukrainian citizens and stateless persons permanently residing in the territories of certain regions of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine,” the document says.
