Putin will Meet with Lukashenko on July 13
OREANDA-NEWS. Presidents of the Russian Federation and Belarus Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko will hold a working meeting in St. Petersburg on Tuesday. This was reported to RIA Novosti by the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov.
"Today a working meeting will take place in St. Petersburg," said Peskov.
Also close to the press service of the Belarusian leader, the Pool of the First Telegram channel reported that President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko intends to meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg on Tuesday and discuss the development of cooperation in various fields and international issues.
The message reads: "Today, on July 13, a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin will take place in St. Petersburg, during which the heads of state will discuss the development of cooperation in various fields, international issues."
It is noted that this visit of Lukashenko to St. Petersburg continues "the established practice of regular personal meetings of leaders to discuss topical issues."
As the channel specified, Lukashenko and Putin agreed on the current meeting on July 1, during a telephone conversation. The President of Belarus flew to St. Petersburg.
