Putin told Macron that the Accusations Connected to the Navalny Case Are Groundless
OREANDA-NEWS. The presidents of Russia and France, Vladimir Putin and Emmanuel Macron, discussed by phone the situation with the poisoning of Russian opposition leader Aleksey Navalny.
This was reported by the Kremlin press service. “Vladimir Putin emphasized the inappropriateness of the unfounded, groundless accusations of the Russian side in this context,” the message says. The Russian leader drew Macron’s attention to the fact that in order to find out the real circumstances of what happened, German specialists should transfer biomaterials and official conclusion based on the results of the analyzes taken from Navalny to Russia, and also establish joint work with Russian doctors.
It is also known that the presidents of France and Russia discussed the situation in Belarus, the Minsk Agreements on Donbass and Libyan problems.
