Putin’s Rating Rose after His Appeal to Citizens
OREANDA-NEWS. The indicators of trust and approval of the activities of Russian President Vladimir Putin after his second appeal to citizens in connection with the situation with coronavirus infection increased and amounted to 74 % and 72 %, respectively. This follows from the results of a survey conducted by the Russia Public Opinion Research Center published on April 3.
“On April 2, 2020, Vladimir Putin addressed the citizens of Russia in connection with the situation around the coronavirus pandemic again. The approval rate for the president’s activity on this day increased compared to last week and amounted to 72 %. The level of confidence also increased and amounted to 74 %,” the statement of the Center says.
From March 23 to 29, the average rate of approval of the president’s activities was 65.7 %. Being asked about confidence in Putin, 71.1 % of respondents answered in the affirmative.
