This was announced on April 17 by President Vladimir Putin at a meeting on the progress in the construction and reprofiling of medical facilities in Russian regions.

“The outbreaks, as a rule, arise due to our flaws, due to the fact that we overlooked something, because of the fact that somewhere they were not checked in time, that’s why,” the politician explained. This was Putin’s comment on the speech of the head of the Bashkir Autonomous Republic, Radiy Khabirov, who stated that “the virus is hitting the hotbeds.”

The Russian leader also noted that the peak of coronavirus incidence in the country has not yet been passed and the risks associated with the spread of infection are still very high.
