OREANDA-NEWS. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that he does not rule out the possibility that the administration of President Donald Trump will impose a ban on entry to the United States for members of the Chinese Communist Party and their families.

Earlier, The New York Times wrote that the American authorities could ban members of the Communist Party of China from entering the country. According to Pompeo, this issue is being worked out under the leadership of the US President; in addition, the authorities are considering many other options for restrictive measures for the Chinese communists. The Secretary of State explained that the administration is now looking for the right solution. He declined to comment on the measures that are under development, and emphasized that the final decision will be made by the American President.
