Oppositionists’ Petition Five Steps for Russia Has Got 100 Thousand Signatures of Citizens
OREANDA-NEWS. The petition of the oppositional politician and the head of the Anti-Corruption Foundation, Aleksey Navalny, titled Five Steps for Russia, has got 100 thousand signatures necessary for consideration at the federal level.
Navalny believes that the number of signatures was underestimated. After achieving this result, a petition on measures to support the economy of the country and citizens Russia during the crisis should be considered. The state may reject Navalny’s initiative or approve it by launching the development of an appropriate bill.
According to the petition Five Steps for Russia, the state should help small and medium-sized businesses, provide one-time payments to adults and children, cancel utility bills for the duration of the pandemic, and abolish all taxes except the personal income tax for the year.
