OREANDA-NEWS The meeting agreed on by the city authorities on Moscow’s Prospect Akademik Sakharov ended. According to the city administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, about 12 thousand people came to him.

The rally, we recall, was against the refusal to register a number of candidates for elections to the Moscow City Duma. The reason for the refusal to register in most cases was a marriage in the signatures of citizens: among the alleged signatories were found non-existent and dead people.

Security at the rally was provided by police officers and the Rosguards.
