OREANDA-NEWS. The foreign ministers of the Normandy Four countries (Ukraine, Russia, Germany and France) will hold talks in a video conference format on April 30. This was reported by the Russian Foreign Ministry on April 29.

The Russian Federation will be represented by Minister Sergey Lavrov. “It is planned to discuss the implementation of the Minsk Package of Measures and the decision of the Paris summit, which took place in December 2019,” Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

Earlier, Lavrov stated that the Ukrainian side sabotaged the political part of the agreements on the Donbass and actually thwarted the meeting. According to the Russian diplomat, Kiev refuses to discuss the legal aspects of the special political status of Donbass and its implementation in the legislation of Ukraine.
