At the same time, the current head of state, Donald Trump, does not admit defeat. According to the latest data, more than 81.2 million citizens supported Biden, 74.2 million voted for Trump.

Earlier, representatives of the US Republican Party refused to pass a resolution that recognizes Biden as President. It is known, in particular, that Mitch McConnell, Roy Blunt and Kevin McCarthy voted against the document.
