MIA Maintains an Unlimited Residence Permit for Russian-Speaking Migrants
OREANDA-NEWS. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has developed a document providing an indefinite residence permit for Russian-speaking migrants, whose close relatives are citizens of Russia, in addition, it is also planned to exempt them from the need to receive a certificate of knowledge of the Russian language.
This was announced by Kirill Adzinov, Head of the Directorate for the Organization of Permitting and Visa Work of the Directorate General for Migration.
The main focus will be on qualified professionals. If a foreigner works more than six months in the profession indicated in the list of sought-after people, then he can directly obtain a residence permit.
After another six months, a person can apply for Russian citizenship. The document should enter into force soon.
