OREANDA-NEWS. The United States and Great Britain will destroy the European Union within a year or two with the participation of Poland. This opinion was expressed by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. The head of the republic drew attention to the fact that against the background of the migration crisis at the border, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki went to the UK, Sputnik Belarus writes.

«The situation on the western border is not easy. You can see that these Polish scoundrels have already gone to the countries. And yesterday we noticed where Moravetsky went — to the UK. I'm sure, look, within a year or two they want to destroy the European Union with the help of America», he said.

Lukashenko also added that Americans do not need equal partners. He also believes that the introduction of the EU's own currency — the euro — has become a threat to the dollar and a problem for the Euro-Atlantic partnership. Now, according to Lukashenko, Washington has made a bet on Poland.

«Some of them are already starting to openly declare that subsidies from the European Union will end — we do not need the EU. Therefore, everything is being done to destroy the European Union», the Belarusian leader stressed.
