OREANDA-NEWS. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko during a meeting with newly appointed officials of his administration stated that in the next five years, the authorities will have to solve serious problems.

A number of difficulties in the economy, according to the president, are connected with Russia. “…This year we must work very seriously to overcome the negative phenomena that exist in the economy, especially related to Russia. The losses that added due to our brothers should be smoothed at the expense of other directions,” Lukashenko said.

The politician noted that Belarus is a country with an export-oriented economy, therefore it is very important to develop trade and economic links with other states. “China, Russia, the European Union… Perhaps it will be possible to establish relations with the Americans. These are “monsters” with which any state consider it an honor to cooperate,” Lukashenko explained.
