Lavrov Said That Germany did not Transfer Navalny's Biomaterials and Clothes to Russia
OREANDA-NEWS. As Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said, Germany did not transfer any biomaterials or clothes of Alexei Navalny to Russia.
As Lavrov said at a press conference following the results of 2020, he does not know where the journalists got the information from that Germany had transferred samples of his tissue and biomaterials to the Russian side. The Russian Foreign Minister claims that this is not true. He added: “In the reply that the German authorities sent us three days ago, clearly preparing for January 17, for Navalny's return, it only says that below is information received from Navalny himself and his wife Yulia. None, not that there biomaterials, we do not even have any test results, no toxicological conclusion, none of this. "
According to Sergei Lavrov, grounds for initiating a criminal case in the Russian Federation on the situation with Alexei Navalny may appear only after Moscow receives the results of his analyzes.
Lavro said: "I can never believe that our Western colleagues are so arrogant and arrogant that they consider it possible to demand explanations from Russia without presenting us with evidence."
He expressed bewilderment that the West, which claims that it has nothing to hide and is not afraid to put the truth on the table, is not doing it. "As soon as we see this, if the attempt of poisoning with military substances is really confirmed, we will have a criminal case," the minister stressed.
Lavrov recalled that the pre-investigation check carried out in the Russian Federation did not reveal grounds for initiating a criminal case.
Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, confirmed that Russia had received a response from Germany on the situation with Navalny, but it did not contain anything in essence.
