Kremlin Spokesman Said There Is No New Data on the Navalny Case
OREANDA-NEWS. In the case of the Russian opposition leader Aleksey Navalny, nothing new happened, and Germany did not transfer the data on the case to Russia. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President. “So far nothing new has happened in the investigation. Receiving information from Berlin could be new. Berlin is still silent. So there is nothing to comment on,” Peskov said.
Earlier, Navalny claimed that Russian President Vladimir Putin was behind his poisoning. Peskov, commenting on this, called the accusations baseless and offensive. He also said that Western special services, in particular the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA, USA), are working with Navalny and giving him instructions. In response to Peskov’s statement, Navalny said that he is going to file a lawsuit against the Kremlin representative and asked to publish evidence of his work with the CIA.
On October 6, Navalny gave a video interview to journalist Yury Dud. The politician once again accused the Russian special services of his poisoning, adding that they acted according to instruction given by Putin.
