Kremlin Spokesman Commented the Publication of Repeated Attempt to Poison Navalny
OREANDA-NEWS. Russian President's press secretary Dmitry Peskov called the publication in the British newspaper Sunday Times about the repeated attempt to poison the opposition leader Aleksey Navalny, when he was the Omsk hospital, nonsense.
Peskov was asked to comment on the publication in The Sunday Times, citing anonymous sources that there was a second attempt to poison Navalny. “The Sunday Times is Sunday reading in a dressing gown,” he answered. “There are informational fakes, and there are messages that can be characterized by the capacious English word bullshit. I will not say more,” Peskov added.
Navalny became ill on August 20 on board a airplane flying from Tomsk to Moscow. He was urgently hospitalized in Omsk, and then, being in a coma, was transported to Berlin. On September 2, the German government, citing a study by military experts, claimed that the oppositionist had been poisoned. Russian side has repeatedly denied these allegations.
