In Kiev, about 40 Police Officers Were Injured during the Protest Action against Lockdown
OREANDA-NEWS. Kiev police reported that during the action of opponents of the lockdown on Maidan Nezalezhnosti on December 15, about 40 officers were injured. The Kiev police department told Interfax news agency that one officer was hit on the head in a crowd, and he lost consciousness, and other police officers received eye burns.
According to media reports, there are victims in the ranks of the protesters too.
The police recalled that on Tuesday, a mass rally is taking place in the center of the Ukrainian capital. Protesters tried to set up military tents. They sprayed tear gas towards law enforcement officers.
The police department once again called on the protesters to comply with the current legislation.
Participants of the action “Stop lockdown!” demand to abolish quarantine restrictions for small and businesses and to adopt bills aimed at protecting the simplified taxation system.
