OREANDA-NEWS. Executives of American corporations Amazon, Apple and Google do not believe that the Chinese authorities have stolen any technology from them. The heads of the companies announced this during a hearing in the the Judiciary Committee of the House of Representatives of the US Congress.

It is noted that each of the speaking entrepreneurs was asked whether the Chinese authorities are stealing technology from American businesses. Apple CEO Tim Cook said that he do not know anything about such cases. Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos also claimed that he had not encountered them. The head of Google Sundar Pichai stated that he had not received information about the theft of technology by the Chinese authorities from the company, but mentioned that in 2009 Google was subjected to a cyber attack by Chinese.

The Facebook chief Mark Zuckerberg also was at the hearing in the Congress. Answering the same question, he told that he considers the information that the Chinese authorities stole American technologies is well documented. However, Zuckerberg did not specify whether this happened with Facebook.
