Head of the Security Council of Belarus Reported of Six Attempts to Organize “Colour Revolutions” in the Country
OREANDA-NEWS. Andrey Ravkov, State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus, said that the country during the period of independence has experienced six attempts to organize “colour revolutions.”
“Since 1994, not a single significant election campaign in Belarus has passed without external interference. The newest history of our country remembers at least six attempted “colour revolutions,” the politician wrote on Facebook.
According to him, now similar processes continue, “although sometimes in more sophisticated, often camouflaged forms.” “One of them… involves a radical dismantling of the sovereignty of Belarus through a change in public consciousness, the base of values of the population and discrediting government bodies,” Ravkov added. “Let me put it figuratively: they are already preparing us for the operation, but the anaesthesia has not begun to have an effect yet. We shouldn’t give in to it,” the Secretary of State resumed.
